According to Facebook, there are over 800 million active users on Facebook.  As a business, you need to be conversing with prospects and customers on social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

Question: Can you use Facebook to generate leads?

Answer:  Without a doubt…YES!

Most businesses use their fan page as a place to communicate with their prospects and customers.  This is good, but it's not enough.  I don't usually sell from my fan page, but I do use my fan page to generate leads.

Create a welcome page where you ask for the "like."

Create a reveal page with a opt-in form, which only shows up after they "like."  You will need to offer some free content or some sort of bonus in exchange for the personal info.

Once you have tested your Facebook lead gen system and it is working, then you change supercharge your lead gen process by using Facebook ads to increase the traffic to your Facebook fan page.
