This week, I worked with a client that had a nice enough looking site. It was professionally developed and had the normal bells and whistles.
I almost lost my lunch when I heard how much they spent on it. $40k! What the *$@%!
You see, I was brought in because the site does not convert any traffic into leads. Now they get to pay me to test some designs that will convert the traffic into leads.
Take away point: Before you spend thousands on your website, understand your traffic and conversion goals.
